Gear

Gear, Kit, Equipment – call it what you want, but wherever we go we like to take a few bits and pieces with us. Below is a list, with links to reviews, of some of the gadgets and gizmos we use. Some of these are good for days out, others for camping, prepping and home use, among other things, and some are useful for more than one activity. Although not strictly ‘Gear’, I have added in an ‘Apps’ section as some apps are to useful to not have.

Please note, we are now working with Ford & Field ®, and use a lot of their products. These will all be marked with the Ford & Field ® logo. All Ford & Field ® products are available online from www.fordandfield.co.uk. All other products are merely some of the things we take with us, with a personal view on how we use it and how well it works. If, however, anyone sends us stuff to test, we will make it clear in the review. Anything without a link is something we use, but have yet to photograph and/or review. This is not an exhaustive list, so check back from time to time as we constantly update it.

I have put together a page detailing the bare essentials that I would keep in any car. This, too, is not an exhaustive list, but just a quick guide. If you keep these items with you it should help in most emergency situations. Please click here to see this.
