Ever heard of it? We had – kind of – but had no idea really what it is. Wanting to add yet another dimension to our travels, we have begun to take tentative steps into the Geocaching world. Superficially it looks like an advanced form of orienteering combined with treasure hunting.
On the 28th December 2020 we went on a hunt for our first Geocache and found it a couple of miles away from our house. Enthused by our success we went looking for a second cache, this time in the village where I grew up. Alas, this was not as successful! Now we have an idea as to how it all works, we are hoping to explore the many facets of Geocaching and all progress will be recorded here.
