This ingenious AM/FM Radio is perfect for all outdoor pursuits, as well as any emergency situation. It has an internal battery that can be charged by the solar panel on the top, or by the hand-crank in the back, or by a USB cable, with the fourth and final option being 3 AAA batteries.
The radio also has a built in torch and a siren mode to help people locate you in an emergency. If that is not enough, it also has a USB Out to give your phone, or any other USB chargeable device, a quick power boost.
It is also small enough to carry around in your backpack, or a large pocket (such as one on the front of the average pair of cargo trousers). The sound quality is very good, and it doesn’t break the bank in terms of cost, which at the time of writing was GB£25. We carry one of these in each car, and they accompany us on all our days out.
